when it’s said and done…………
i know this is late,
and as most of us already know our presentation night was a blast.
but there are a few things i should probably write up.
so here it goes:
problems that i faced through this process include:
- falling off a chair in front of the whole class (yes i know i am a show off).
- having to find a new way to start the performance
- getting organised and pushing myself to cooperate and be 100% focused when i felt like sleeping or being a brat.
- writing up the script and the sound scape, because of my minute attention span to consistant detail.
- trying not to become a mega nazi bitch when it came to rehearsals.
- relaxing~ the hardest of them all but in the end it paid off.
things i enjoyed about working in a group called menc:
- the amount of talent shared betwee 4 people.
- erin slipping HAHAHAHAHAH
- knowing that we loved our performance
- the amount of group focus we had which helped support every group member
- getting ideas and doing the happy dance with Erin…which non one else got but, OH WELL they were fun.
- performing on performance night because it felt ecstatic and exhilarating
- the sound-scape…when it worked…ehehehe
finally i would like to point out each group member and thank them for a fun, frustrating and educational semester of rehersals:
Erin~ for keeping me sane and you great script writing and ability to manipulate words. your a fantastic girl who kept me sane and supported the performance 100% (i know i keep using this % thing but it seems to be working). fantastic on the night and great with you answer to our material problems and thank you for helping me work through scenes and for not doubting the ability of our group.
Claire~ for your straight face when we had to be Russians. there were so many times where i wanted to piss myself laughing but you kept it together so well. you were great when it came to committing and i apologise for being a rehearsals bitch at times. you were great on the night drew tension magnificently and had people on the edge of their seats.
Matt~were to start…probably with an apology for making you live in fear of all of us girls. you held it together even though you probably wanted to kill us all (secretly) at times when we yelled at you which happened more that was deserved. you were fantastic on the night and impressed us all.
well…that’s all from me i wish all the other groups from all the opther schools chookers and sign off for the last time……….love you all NKECHI
